OUR HISTORY

Equipping Leaders for Impact Project was birthed out of the passion to see young leaders in institutions of higher learning in Africa , trained, developed and mentored as change agents. The flagship conference took place at the University of Ibadan in March 2014 with over 200 students from various departments in attendance. A follow-up conference took place in September of same year at the same university. In September 2014, a 2 day training was organised for the heads of units/departments at Bowen University, Iwo in Osun state.

In April 2015, ELIP became a registered charity in Scotland, UK. Charity Number SC045552.

Our Vision

To intentionally train, mentor and develop young leaders from various universities and other tertiary institutions in Africa through structured leadership curriculum thus empowering them to become change agents in the continent.

Our Mission

To deliver leadership contents to students of higher institutions in Africa through conferences, workshops and embedded leadership curriculum.
